When people hear “social media,” most immediately think of platforms like Facebook. In reality, there are hundreds of platforms, each serving a different form of communication.
Some are direct, platforms like WhatsApp or Facebook, mainly used where we speak one-on-one or in groups. Others are indirect, platforms like Spotify or YouTube, where the communication happens through content.
Yes, I know what you’re thinking: “One is streaming and one is not.”
You’re absolutely right. But at the core, they are all forms of communication.
I speak to you. You speak to me. Or we experience something together.
As an artist (Composer), that means I aim to be present on as many relevant platforms as possible. Many artists prefer to direct people to one or two primary channels. I’ve chosen a different approach of making it easy from the start for listeners, followers, and subscribers to reach me in the environment they already use.
Collaborations often begin on social platforms. However, once discussions move beyond casual conversation, they transition to email.
This creates a clear distinction:
Social platforms – conversation, connection, brainstorming.
Email – confirmation, agreements, and business matters.
Unless something is confirmed via email, it remains what it is: creatives talking about music. Nothing official.
Across digital streaming platforms (DSPs), I am currently present on roughly 480 platforms. Listing all of them here would result in pages of links that most people would never use.
Instead, I’ve selected key platforms and grouped them by content type to keep things clear and practical.
